Walkley Primary School hosted its annual Sponsored Event on Friday the 11 th June; the day before England kicked off their World Cup campaign. Children were invited to dress in a national team shirt; many opting for the Three Lions of England.
All pupils, from Foundation to Y6, had the opportunity to ‘score like Rooney' from the penalty spot in the charity penalty shoot out. Teachers took turns in goal and there were lots of fun activities for the children to do throughout the day.
